Method
Preparing the Cauliflower
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2
Cut the Cauliflower
Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower head. Cut it into bite-sized florets.
- 3
Make the Batter
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- 4
Coat the Cauliflower
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing excess to drip off, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Baking and Tossing
- 5
Bake the Cauliflower
Bake the cauliflower in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
- 6
Toss in Buffalo Sauce
Remove the baking sheet from the oven, and carefully toss the baked cauliflower in the buffalo sauce until well coated.
- 7
Return to Oven
Place the sauced cauliflower back in the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Preparing the Ranch Dressing
- 8
Mix the Dressing Ingredients
In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
- 9
Chill the Dressing
Cover the ranch dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
Serving
- 10
Serve the Buffalo Cauliflower
Once the cauliflower is done baking, remove it from the oven and serve hot with the chilled ranch dressing on the side.
