Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Brussels Sprouts
Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged outer leaves. Cut them in half lengthwise.
- 2
Prepare the Garlic
Mince the garlic cloves finely and set aside.
- 3
Chop the Green Onions
Slice the green onions into thin rounds, separating the green part from the white part.
Cooking
- 4
Cook the Brussels Sprouts
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add a drizzle of oil. Once hot, add the halved Brussels sprouts, cut side down. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until they are browned and crispy.
- 5
Make the Garlic Soy Glaze
In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, minced garlic, honey, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
- 6
Combine and Toss
Once the Brussels sprouts are crispy, pour the garlic soy glaze over them. Toss well to ensure the Brussels sprouts are coated. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the glaze thickens slightly.
Serving
- 7
Add Toppings
Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle sesame seeds and the green parts of the green onions over the Brussels sprouts.
- 8
