Prepare the Burger Patty

Mix Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined.

Form Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty.
Cook the Burger

Cook Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Cook Patties
In the same skillet, increase the heat to medium-high and add the burger patties. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.

Flip Patties
Flip the patties and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes. Add a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
Assemble the Burger
