Method

Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Cutlet

Pound the beef cutlet to about 1/2 inch thickness. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

    Bread the Cutlet

In a shallow dish, mix the flour and seasoned salt. Dredge the beef cutlet in the flour mixture, then dip it in milk, and then coat with flour again.

  3. 3

    Fry the Cutlet

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded cutlet for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Make the Sausage Gravy

In the same skillet, add the sausage and cook over medium heat until browned. Stir in the butter and the additional flour. Cook for 1-2 minutes before gradually adding the heavy cream while stirring continuously. Simmer until thickened.

  5. 5

    Cook the Eggs

In a separate pan, cook the eggs to your liking (fried, scrambled, etc.).

  6. 6

    Serve

Place the fried cutlet on a plate, top with sausage gravy, serve with two eggs, and enjoy with your side of choice.
