Method
Pasta Preparation
- 1
Cook the Fettuccine
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente (usually about 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
Chicken Preparation
- 2
Grill the Chicken
Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium heat. Brush the chicken breasts with olive oil and season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Once cooked, remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Alfredo Sauce Preparation
- 3
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Combine and Serve
- 4
Mix Everything Together
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked fettuccine and Alfredo sauce. Toss until the pasta is well coated with the sauce. Slice the grilled chicken and place it on top of the pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
