Method

Burger Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 1 inch thick, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.

Cooking the Patties

  1. 3

    Preheat Grill or Pan

Heat a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, add a little oil to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Cook Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and cook for another 4-5 minutes, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Burger Assembly

  1. 5

    Prepare Vegetables

While the patties are cooking, wash and slice the tomato into thin rounds.

  2. 6

    Assemble the Burgers

To assemble the burgers, place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each burger bun, followed by a cooked beef patty. Top with tomato slices and drizzle with special sauce. Place the top half of the bun on the burger.

  3. 7

    Serve

Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes.
