Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This ensures that your cheese will melt perfectly.

  2. 2

    Prepare Marinara Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, warm the marinara sauce until it is heated through. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

  3. 3

    Prepare Cheese Mixture

In a mixing bowl, combine the mozzarella, provolone, and parmesan cheese. Toss them together until evenly mixed.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Layer Ingredients

In a suitable baking dish, spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom. Then, add half of the cheese mixture on top of the sauce.

  2. 5

    Repeat Layers

Spread the remaining marinara sauce over the cheese layer, followed by the rest of the cheese mixture on top.

Baking

  1. 6

    Bake

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for 25 minutes.

  2. 7

    Uncover and Broil

After 25 minutes, remove the foil and switch the oven to broil. Broil for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

  3. 8

    Cool and Serve

Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving. This will help the cheese set a bit.
