Beef Patty

Cheeseburger Assembly

Method

Beef Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patty

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. 2

    Shape the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions. Shape each portion into a round patty about 1 inch thick.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt the cheese.

Cheeseburger Assembly

  1. 5

    Prepare the Buns

Slice the burger buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 6

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, a slice of tomato, and then drizzle the special sauce over the top.

  3. 7

    Finish the Burger

Top with the other half of the bun and press down gently. Serve immediately.
