Method
Cocktail
- 1
Prepare glass
Fill a highball or pint glass about two-thirds full with ice (approximately 1 cup).
- 2
Add vodka and lime
If using vodka, measure and pour 1 oz vodka into the glass. Add 0.5 oz fresh lime juice and 0.25 oz simple syrup if you want extra sweetness.
- 3
Top with White Claw
Open two cans of White Claw (Peach or Black Cherry). Pour them slowly over the back of a bar spoon into the glass to preserve carbonation, filling the glass and leaving a small head. If preferred, use one can for a lighter drink and adjust vodka proportionally (0.5 oz vodka per can).
- 4
Stir gently
Use a bar spoon to gently stir once or twice to combine the vodka/lime/syrup with the seltzer without losing too much fizz.
Garnish & Serve
- 5
Garnish the drink with a lime wedge or wheel on the rim. If using Peach White Claw, add a fresh peach slice to the rim or float it on top. If using Black Cherry, add a maraschino cherry or a fresh black cherry. Optionally slap and add a mint sprig for aroma.
- 6
Serve immediately while cold and fizzy. Provide a straw or enjoy without — sip to taste.
Notes
- 7
To make a lower-alcohol version, skip the vodka and use one can White Claw per serving. Adjust lime and simple syrup to taste. For a batch, multiply ingredients by number of servings and mix vodka, lime, and syrup in a pitcher, then add chilled White Claw cans individually when serving to keep carbonation.
