Muddle the Mint
In a cocktail shaker, add the fresh mint leaves. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press the mint leaves to release their oils without tearing them apart.

Pour in 2 oz of 44 North Huckleberry Vodka over the muddled mint.
- 3
Include Bitters and Syrup
Add 2 dashes of orange bitters and 1 oz of simple syrup into the cocktail shaker.

Squeeze the Lemon
Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice from one half into the shaker, discarding the seeds. Reserve the other half for garnish.
- 5
Shake the Mixture
Fill the shaker with ice and seal it. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to combine all ingredients and chill the mixture.
