Method

Cooking the Home Fries

  1. 1

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Dice them into small cubes.

  2. 2

    Season and Cook

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced potatoes and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir to coat the potatoes evenly.

  3. 3

    Cook Until Golden

Cook the potatoes for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

Cooking the Eggs

  1. 4

    Heat the Pan

In a separate non-stick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

  2. 5

    Cook the Eggs

Crack the eggs into the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook to your liking (sunny-side up, over easy, or scrambled) for approximately 3-5 minutes.

Cooking the Meat

  1. 6

    Cook the Sausage or Bacon

In another skillet, cook the sausage links or bacon slices over medium heat. For sausage, cook for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally until browned. For bacon, cook for about 5-7 minutes until crispy.

Plating

  1. 7

    Assemble the Plate

On a large plate, arrange the home fries, eggs, and your choice of cooked sausage or bacon. Serve hot.
