Burger Patty

Blue Cheese Medley

Method

Prepare Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Season the Beef

In a bowl, combine the sirloin beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until all seasonings are evenly distributed throughout the meat.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the seasoned meat into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

Prepare Blue Cheese Medley

  1. 3

    Mix Ingredients

In a bowl, combine the blue cheese, diced green chilies, cream cheese, and chopped chives. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

Cook the Burgers

  1. 4

    Grill or Pan-Fry

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

  2. 5

    Add Blue Cheese Medley

In the last minute of cooking, top each patty with a generous spoonful of the blue cheese medley and allow it to melt slightly.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 6

    Prepare the Buns

Spread mayonnaise on the insides of each burger bun.

  2. 7

    Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of each bun, place a leaf of lettuce, a slice of tomato, and a slice of onion. Then, place the cooked burger patty with the melted blue cheese medley on top.

  3. 8

    Finish Assembly

Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
