Toppings

Method

Preparing the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Season and Form the Patties

In a bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties, about ¾ inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

Cooking the Bacon and Eggs

  1. 3

    Crisp the Bacon

In a separate skillet, cook the bacon strips over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes, or until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on a paper towel.

  2. 4

    Fry the Eggs

In the same skillet with the bacon drippings, crack the eggs and cook them sunny-side up for about 2-3 minutes or until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 5

    Toast the Buns

In the same skillet, add butter and toast the brioche buns until golden brown.

  2. 6

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun, place a cheesy beef patty, followed by a few strips of crispy bacon, and finally top with a fried egg. Add the top half of the bun to complete the burger.
