Method

Preparation of Dip

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the dip.

  2. 2

    Mix the Dip Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped artichoke hearts, roasted green chilis, softened cream cheese, sour cream, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated and smooth.

  3. 3

    Transfer to Baking Dish

Transfer the dip mixture into a baking dish, spreading it evenly.

Preparation of Bread

  1. 4

    Prepare the Bread

While the dip is being prepared, slice the baguette or crusty bread into 1/2 inch slices.

  2. 5

    Brush with Olive Oil

Place the sliced bread on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil. Sprinkle dried Italian herbs over the top.

  3. 6

    Bake the Bread

Bake the bread slices in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Baking the Dip

  1. 7

    Bake the Dip

Place the baking dish with the dip in the oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and lightly golden on top.

  2. 8

    Serve

Remove the dip from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with the toasted bread for dipping.
