Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Rinse and dry the baby kale, romaine, edamame, cherry tomatoes, radish, and cucumber. Chop the romaine, halve the cherry tomatoes, slice the radish thinly, and dice the cucumber.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Tuna

Season the pepper crusted tuna with a pinch of salt and sear in a hot skillet for 1-2 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from heat and let it rest before slicing.

  3. 3

    Make the Dressing

In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, Dijon mustard, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Combine the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the baby kale, romaine, edamame, cherry tomatoes, radish, and cucumber. Drizzle with the dressing and toss gently to combine.

  2. 5

    Serve

Top the salad with sliced avocado, seared pepper crusted tuna, and sprinkle sesame seeds over the top before serving.
