Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Chop the onion, garlic, carrot, and celery. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Vegetables

In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, carrot, and celery. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.

  3. 3

    Add Garlic and Beef

Stir in the minced garlic and ground beef. Cook until the beef is browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.

  4. 4

    Add Tomatoes and Seasonings

Add the canned tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, black pepper, and red wine (if using). Stir well and let simmer for 20-25 minutes.

  5. 5

    Cook the Spaghetti

While the sauce simmers, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions in salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.

  6. 6

    Combine and Serve

Toss the cooked spaghetti with the Bolognese sauce. Serve topped with grated Parmesan cheese, fresh basil, and parsley.
