Method

Cooking the Sauce

  1. 1

    Prepare the Arrabiata Sauce

In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing until fragrant. Add the San Marzano tomatoes and salt, and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in chopped basil just before serving.

Cooking the Seafood

  1. 2

    Cook the Seafood

In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the cleaned mussels and clams. Cover and cook for about 5 minutes until they start to open. Add shrimp and bay scallops, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until shrimp are pink and scallops are opaque. Remove from heat.

  2. 3

    Add Fresh Fish

In the same pot, add the fish fillet and gently poach in the seafood broth for about 5-7 minutes until cooked through. Remove the seafood and set aside, keeping warm.

Cooking the Pasta

  1. 4

    Prepare the Spaghetti

Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and toss with a bit of olive oil to prevent sticking.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 5

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

In a large bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti and arrabiata sauce. Gently fold in the seafood mixture until well combined.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve

Plate the seafood spaghetti and drizzle with basil oil. Garnish with extra basil if desired.
