Lamb Chops

Method

Preparing the Lamb Chops

  1. 1

    Marinate the Lamb Chops

In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Coat the Lamb Chops

Add the lamb chops to the marinade and ensure they are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 400°F (200°C).

  4. 4

    Grill the Lamb Chops

Remove the lamb chops from the marinade and place them on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Making the Mint Sauce

  1. 5

    Prepare the Mint

In a bowl, add the fresh mint leaves and sugar. Pour boiling water over the mixture and let it steep for about 10 minutes.

  2. 6

    Add Vinegar and Salt

After steeping, add white vinegar and salt to the mint mixture. Stir well to dissolve the sugar and salt.

  3. 7

    Cool the Sauce

Allow the mint sauce to cool to room temperature before serving.

Serving

  1. 8

    Plate the Dish

Once the lamb chops are grilled to perfection, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.

  2. 9

    Serve with Mint Sauce

Serve the lamb chops on a plate with a generous drizzle of mint sauce on the side.
