Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil Water

Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a rolling boil.

  2. 2

    Cook Pasta

Add the pasta of your choice (Tagliatelle, Rigatoni, Malfadine, or Spinach Pappardelle) to the boiling water and cook according to the package instructions, usually about 8-10 minutes until al dente.

  3. 3

    Drain Pasta

Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside, reserving a cup of pasta water.

Cooking Protein

  1. 4

    Prepare Protein

Choose your protein (Chicken, Shrimp, Meatballs, or Italian Sausage) and season with salt and pepper.

  2. 5

    Cook Protein

In a skillet over medium heat, add a tablespoon of olive oil and cook the chosen protein until fully cooked: Chicken (6-7 minutes), Shrimp (3-4 minutes), Meatballs (10-12 minutes), or Italian Sausage (8-10 minutes).

Making Sauce

  1. 6

    Heat Sauce

In a separate saucepan, heat your choice of sauce (Parmesan Cream, Pesto Cream, Princess Sauce, or Sacred Pepper Signature Marinara) over medium heat until warmed through, stirring occasionally.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 7

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the drained pasta to the saucepan with the heated sauce. Mix well to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed to achieve desired consistency.

  2. 8

    Add Protein

Once the pasta is coated in sauce, add the cooked protein and gently toss everything together.

Final Touches

  1. 9

    Plate and Garnish

Serve the pasta in bowls or on plates, garnishing with fresh basil, grated Parmesan cheese, and cracked black pepper to taste.
