Land & Sea Ingredients

Method

Land & Sea Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filet Mignon

Season the filet mignon with salt and black pepper on both sides. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Cook the Filet Mignon

Add the filet mignon to the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest.

  3. 3

    Make the Crab Cakes

In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and fresh parsley. Mix gently to combine.

  4. 4

Form and Cook the Crab Cakes

Shape the mixture into patties. Heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the crab cakes and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Roasted Fingerling Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Halve the fingerling potatoes and toss them in a bowl with minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste.

  6. 6

    Roast the Potatoes

Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes or until golden and tender.

  7. 7

    Grill the Asparagus

While the potatoes are roasting, prepare the asparagus. Toss the asparagus with olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Grill on medium heat for 5-7 minutes until tender and slightly charred.

  8. 8

    Plate the Dish

Serve the filet mignon alongside the crab cakes, roasted fingerling potatoes, and grilled asparagus for a delicious land and sea meal.
