Bruschetta Topping

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bruschetta Topping

In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped green olives, diced tomatoes, finely chopped red onion, chopped celery, and rinsed capers. Drizzle the olive oil over the mixture and add the chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything together until well combined.

  2. 2

    Toast the Bread

Slice a baguette or ciabatta into 1/2-inch thick slices. Toast them in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown and crisp.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Bruschetta

Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Top each slice with a generous spoonful of the olive and tomato mixture. Serve immediately.
