    Make the Syrup

    In a saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Heat gently, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool.

    Mix Juices

    Once the syrup is cool, mix in the lemon juice and blood orange juice until well combined.

    Chill the Mixture

    Refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours until thoroughly chilled.

    Freeze the Sorbet

    Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency. Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours until firm.
