Bruschetta Ingredients

Method

Bruschetta Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bread

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette or ciabatta bread into 1/2-inch thick slices. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet.

  2. 2

    Toast the Bread

Brush the slices with olive oil and bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Topping

While the bread is toasting, dice the ripe tomatoes and chop the fresh basil leaves. Combine them in a bowl.

  4. 4

    Add Garlic and Seasoning

Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the tomato-basil mixture. Drizzle with remaining olive oil and season with salt and black pepper. Mix well.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Bruschetta

Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Top each slice with the tomato-basil mixture.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve immediately while the bread is warm and crispy.
