Caesar Salad

Mashed Potatoes

Method

Caesar Salad

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salad

In a large bowl, toss together the chopped romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, grated Parmesan cheese, and croutons. Season with black pepper to taste.

Prime Rib

  1. 2

    Prepare the Prime Rib

Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). In a bowl, mix minced garlic, chopped rosemary, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the prime rib roast.

  2. 3

    Roast the Prime Rib

Place the roast on a rack in a roasting pan, bone side down. Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 325°F (165°C) and continue roasting for about 1 hour and 15 minutes for medium-rare (135°F/57°C internal temperature). Allow to rest for 15 minutes before carving.

Mashed Potatoes

  1. 4

    Cook the Potatoes

In a large pot, boil peeled and cubed potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain the potatoes.

  2. 5

    Mash and Season

Return the potatoes to the pot, add butter and milk, and mash until smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
