Method

Glaze and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the baby back ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, and brown sugar. Rub this mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.

  4. 4

Prepare the Red Chile Honey Glaze

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine 1 cup of honey, 2 tbs of red chile powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well combined and heated through.

  5. 5

    Glaze the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush a generous amount of the red chile honey glaze over the ribs.

  6. 6

    Finish the Ribs

Return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the glaze is caramelized. Serve with extra glaze on the side.
