Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork

Rub the pork shoulder with BBQ rub and let it sit for at least 1 hour to marinate.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pork

Preheat your smoker or pit to 225°F (107°C). Place the pork shoulder in the smoker and cook for about 12-14 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F (90°C).

  3. 3

    Make the BBQ Sauce

Mix apple cider vinegar and water in a bowl to create a mopping sauce. Use this to baste the pork every hour during cooking.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Sides

While the pork is cooking, prepare the french fries according to package directions. Assemble the coleslaw and bake or warm the cornbread.

  5. 5

    Serve

Once the pork is done, shred it and serve it on a plate with fries, slaw, cornbread, and drizzle with PR sauce.
