Ribs and Sauce

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the baby back ribs under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs if it's still attached.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, covering both sides evenly.

  3. 3

    Wrap and Bake

Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.

  4. 4

    Make the PR Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, hot sauce, and honey. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and let it cook for about 15 minutes until slightly thickened.

  5. 5

    Glaze the Ribs

Once the ribs are done baking, carefully remove them from the foil and place them on a grill or under the broiler. Brush generously with the PR sauce and grill for an additional 5-10 minutes, turning occasionally until caramelized.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the grill, let them rest for a few minutes, then cut into portions and serve with extra PR sauce on the side.
