Crust Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crust

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, combine walnut halves, graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, melted butter, and salt. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Press into Pan

Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9-inch square baking pan. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool.

Filling Preparation

  1. 3

    Make the Filling

In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.

  2. 4

    Whip the Cream

In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.

  3. 5

    Spread the Filling

Spread the cream cheese filling evenly over the cooled crust in the baking pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.

Topping Preparation

  1. 6

In a small bowl, combine the toasted walnut halves, honey, and cinnamon. Mix well.

  2. 7

    Add the Topping

Sprinkle the walnut topping evenly over the cream cheese filling.

  3. 8

    Chill and Serve

Refrigerate the Walnut Block for at least 2 hours to set. Cut into squares and serve chilled.
