Method

Hummus Preparation

1

Combine Ingredients

In a food processor, add the canned white beans, roasted red bell peppers, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, black pepper, and fresh dill.

2

Blend Until Smooth

Process the mixture on high speed until it's smooth and creamy. If the hummus is too thick, you can add a little water, one tablespoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.

3

Taste and Adjust

Taste the hummus and adjust seasoning if needed, adding more salt, lemon juice, or dill to suit your preference.

Toasted Pita Preparation

4

Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

5

Prepare Pita Bread

Brush both sides of the pita bread with olive oil and cut them into triangles.

6

Toast Pita

Arrange the pita triangles on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy.

Garnish the Hummus

7

Serve and Garnish

Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl, drizzle with a little extra olive oil, sprinkle fresh dill and lemon zest on top for garnish.
