For Coffee Mixture

Method

Preparing the Coffee Mixture

  1. 1

    Brew Espresso

Brew 240 ml of strong espresso coffee and set aside to cool.

    Combine with Liqueur (Optional)

If using coffee liqueur, stir 30 ml into the cooled espresso and set aside.

Making the Cream Mixture

  1. 3

    Whip Heavy Cream

In a large mixing bowl, whip 250 ml of heavy cream until soft peaks form.

  2. 4

    Mix Mascarpone and Sugar

In another bowl, combine 500 g of mascarpone cheese, 100 g of granulated sugar, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

  3. 5

Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully combined and smooth.

Assembling the Tiramisu

  1. 6

    Dip Ladyfingers

Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

    Layer the Tiramisu

In a rectangular dish, layer half of the soaked ladyfingers at the bottom. Spread half of the cream mixture over the ladyfingers.

  3. 8

    Repeat Layers

Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers followed by the remaining cream mixture.
