Chill the Glass
Place a snifter glass in the freezer for about 10 minutes to chill.

Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all the ingredients including Hennessy XO, ice cubes, and optional water.

Pour the Cognac
Remove the chilled glass from the freezer and pour 50 ml of Hennessy XO into the glass.

Carefully add 3 ice cubes to the glass. This will slightly chill the cognac and enhance the flavors.
