Prepare the Glass
Start by chilling a rocks glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and letting it sit while you prepare the drink.
Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine the High Life Bourbon, simple syrup, and Angostura bitters. Add ice cubes to the mixing glass.
Stir the Mixture
Stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds to chill and combine the ingredients thoroughly.
Strain into Glass
Empty the chilled rocks glass from the ice water and strain the mixture into the glass over fresh ice.
Garnish and Serve
Garnish the drink with a twist of orange peel by expressing the oils over the drink and then placing it in the glass. Serve immediately.
