Method
Grilled Salmon
Prepare salmon
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Inspect for any pin bones and remove with tweezers if needed. Place fillets skin-side down on a plate or tray.
Place salmon on the grill skin-side down directly over the heat. Close the lid and cook without moving for 4-6 minutes, depending on thickness (about 4 minutes for 3/4" thick, up to 6 minutes for 1"+). The salmon should release easily when ready to flip.
Classic Rémoulade Sauce
In a medium bowl combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and whole-grain mustard. Whisk until smooth and uniform in color.
Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes to allow flavors to meld. Bring to cool room temperature just before serving if preferred.
Honey-Wheat Bread (served warm)
Plating & Serving
Place one salmon fillet on each plate. Spoon 2-3 tablespoons of rémoulade sauce on the side or a dollop atop the salmon if desired.
