Atomica Raspberry Vodka Recipe
There is no one more suited to craft the vodka for our refreshing Pink Lady cocktail than Atomica’s Smith Mathews, a lowcountry native known for creating some of the most flavorful and authentic libations in the south. All things raspberry come through on the nose and make Atomica’s vodka a perfect complement to our fresh-squeezed lemonade.

Method

- 1
Prepare glass
Chill a coupe or rocks glass by filling it with ice and water; set aside while you build the cocktail.
- 2
Muddle raspberries
In a cocktail shaker, add fresh raspberries and simple syrup. Gently muddle until the raspberries are broken down and release their juices (about 15–20 seconds). This creates a fresh raspberry purée that will integrate with the vodka.
- 3
- 4
Dry shake (if using egg white)
If using the egg white, seal the shaker and shake vigorously without ice for 10–15 seconds to emulsify and build a silky foam. This step improves texture and foam volume.
- 5
Wet shake
Add ice (enough to fill the shaker about two-thirds) to the shaker. Seal and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until well chilled (the shaker should feel very cold).
- 6
Strain
Discard the ice and water from the chilled glass. Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled glass using a Hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh strainer to remove raspberry seeds and ice shards for a smooth drink.
- 7
Top (optional)
If you prefer a slightly lighter, fizzier drink, top with 1 oz club soda. Gently stir once to incorporate.
- 8
Garnish and serve
Garnish with a fresh raspberry skewered on a cocktail pick and a lemon wheel or twist on the rim. Serve immediately.
