Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). This low temperature will help cook the ribs slowly, making them tender.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Ribs

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.

  3. 3

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Rub this seasoning mix all over the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Wrap and Bake

Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  2. 5

    Glaze the Ribs

After baking, carefully unwrap the ribs and brush them generously with BBQ sauce. Return them to the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 30 minutes at 350°F (175°C) to caramelize the sauce.

Serving

  1. 6

    Slice and Serve

Once done, let the ribs rest for a few minutes. Slice between the bones and serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
