Crust Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Crust
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
- 2
Form the Crust
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan, making sure it is evenly distributed. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool.
Filling Preparation
- 3
Make the Filling
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy.
- 4
Add Other Ingredients
Gradually add granulated sugar, sour cream, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese, mixing until combined. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Finally, add the all-purpose flour and mix until just combined.
Baking
- 5
Combine and Bake
Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust in the springform pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
- 6
Bake the Cheesecake
Bake in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and crack the oven door, letting the cheesecake cool in the oven for 1 hour.
- 7
Chill
Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
