1. Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease four ramekins with butter and dust with flour.

2. Melt Chocolate and Butter

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate and unsalted butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.

3. Mix Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, egg yolk, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined. Slowly add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture, stirring continuously.

4. Add Flour

Sift the all-purpose flour into the chocolate mixture and gently fold until just combined.

5. Bake the Cakes

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for about 12-14 minutes, until the edges are firm but the center is still soft.

6. Cool and Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool for 1 minute. Carefully invert each ramekin onto a plate and gently lift it off. Serve immediately with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
