Combine ingredients
Add bourbon, Benedictine, amaro, demerara syrup and fresh lemon juice into a cocktail shaker. Add orange bitters and one dash of Angostura bitters.

Fill the shaker with cubed ice (enough to chill and dilute well). Shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the shaker is well chilled and slightly frosted.

Place a large ice cube in a chilled old-fashioned glass (or coupe if preferred).
