Pulled BBQ Brisket

Bun

Method

Pulled BBQ Brisket Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Brisket

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Season the beef brisket with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper on all sides.

  2. 2

    Cook the Brisket

Place the brisket in a roasting pan, cover it with foil, and cook in the preheated oven for about 3-4 hours until tender. Check occasionally to ensure it doesn't dry out.

  3. 3

    Shred the Brisket

Once cooked, remove the brisket from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes. Shred the brisket using two forks and mix with BBQ sauce and apple cider vinegar.

Coleslaw Directions

  1. 4

    Prepare the Coleslaw

In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and carrots.

  2. 5

    Make the Dressing

In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

  3. 6

    Combine

Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots. Toss until evenly coated and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Chicken Directions

  1. 7

    Prepare the Chicken

Season the boneless, skinless chicken breasts with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 8

    Cook the Chicken

Grill or bake the chicken breasts at 375°F (190°C) for about 20-25 minutes until fully cooked. Brush with BBQ sauce during the last few minutes of cooking.

  3. 9

    Shred the Chicken

Once cooked, let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then shred it using two forks and mix with additional BBQ sauce as desired.

Assemble the Sandwich

  1. 10

    Build the Sandwich

Slice the Kaiser rolls in half. Place a generous portion of either pulled brisket or shredded chicken on the bottom half of the bun, followed by a scoop of coleslaw. Top with the other half of the bun and serve.
