Method
Preparing the Chicken Tenders
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Begin by cutting the chicken breast into strips, about 1 inch wide. Pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Set up Breading Station
In three separate bowls, place the flour in the first bowl, the beaten eggs mixed with milk in the second bowl, and the panko breadcrumbs combined with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in the third bowl.
- 3
Bread the Chicken Strips
Dredge each chicken strip first in the flour, shaking off excess, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally coat with the panko breadcrumb mixture. Ensure each strip is well-coated.
Cooking the Chicken Tenders
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking (around 350°F or 175°C).
- 5
Fry the Chicken Strips
Carefully add the breaded chicken strips to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- 6
Preparing Dipping Sauces
- 7
Honey Mustard Sauce
In a small bowl, combine the honey and Dijon mustard. Mix well until smooth.
