Classic Manhattan made with Scotch and Sweet Vermouth

Before preparing the cocktail, chill your glass by filling it with ice water. Set aside.

In a mixing glass, combine the Scotch whisky, sweet vermouth, and Angostura bitters.

Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Empty the ice water from the chilled glass. Strain the mixture into the glass.
