Method
Preparing the Shrimp
- 1
Clean the Shrimp
Rinse the Royal Red Shrimp under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Pat them dry gently with paper towels.
- 2
Season the Shrimp
Sprinkle salt evenly over the cleaned shrimp. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the shrimp, allowing it to soak in for about 10 minutes.
Making Drawn Butter
- 3
Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Be careful not to let it boil.
- 4
Add Garlic and Parsley
Once the butter is melted, add minced garlic and chopped fresh parsley. Stir gently and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to infuse the flavors.
Cooking the Shrimp
- 5
Boil the Shrimp
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the seasoned Royal Red Shrimp to the boiling water. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque.
- 6
Drain and Serve
Once cooked, drain the shrimp and transfer them to a serving platter. Serve immediately with the drawn butter on the side for dipping.
