Method
Wings Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- 2
Prepare the Chicken Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, salt, black pepper, and baking powder. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
- 3
Arrange Wings for Baking
Place the coated wings in a single layer on the wire rack. This allows for even cooking and crispiness.
- 4
Bake the Wings
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- 5
Prepare the Sauce
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the hot sauce until well combined.
- 6
Toss the Wings in Sauce
Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the hot sauce mixture over the wings. Toss until all wings are coated.
Ranch Dressing Preparation
- 7
Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 8
Mix Well
Whisk the ingredients together until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- 9
Chill the Dressing
Cover the ranch dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
