Fried Chicken Sandwich
Method
Preparation
- 1
Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, combine buttermilk, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken thighs and ensure they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- 2
Prepare the Breading
In a shallow dish, place the flour and season it with salt and pepper. Dredge each marinated chicken thigh in the seasoned flour, shaking off excess.
- 3
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the breaded chicken thighs. Fry for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 4
Cook the Bacon
In a separate pan, cook the bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- 5
Assemble the Sandwich
Toast the brioche buns lightly. On the bottom half of each bun, layer with a fried chicken thigh, a slice of provolone cheese, two slices of bacon, lettuce, and tomato slices. Drizzle with ranch dressing and cover with the top half of the bun.
