Winemaking Process
1. Harvesting Grapes
Select ripe Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the vineyard. Remove any stems and leaves.
2. Crushing
Crush the grapes to release the juice. This can be done by hand or using a grape crusher.
3. Fermentation
Transfer the crushed grapes and juice to a fermentation vessel. Add yeast to the mixture and allow it to ferment at a controlled temperature for about 7-14 days.
4. Pressing
After fermentation, press the mixture to separate the wine from the grape skins.
5. Aging
Transfer the wine to an oak barrel or container with oak chips for aging. Allow it to mature for at least 6 months to develop flavors.
6. Bottling
Once aged, filter and bottle the wine. Seal with corks and label appropriately.
