Chop Tomatoes
Dice the tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Mince Garlic
Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves, then add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Add Basil
Chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the mixing bowl with the tomatoes and garlic.

Season the Mixture
Drizzle the balsamic vinegar over the mixture, then sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste. Mix well and let it sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Slice the Baguette
Cut the French baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Grill the Bread
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Place the bread slices on the grill, oiled side down, and grill for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

Flip and Toast
Flip the slices and grill the other side for an additional 1-2 minutes until lightly toasted.

Top the Toasted Bread
Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the grill and top each slice generously with the marinated tomato mixture.
