House Fries

Mashed Potatoes

Slow-Cooked Green Beans

Method

House Fries

  1. 1

    Prep potatoes

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Scrub potatoes. Cut into evenly sized sticks for fries.

  2. 2

    Parboil (optional)

Optional: boil cut potatoes for 3-4 minutes to soften slightly.

  3. 3

    Season and bake

Toss potatoes with olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, and paprika. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway, until crisp and golden.

Mashed Potatoes

  1. 4

    Prepare potatoes

Wash, peel (optional), and cut potatoes into evenly sized chunks.

  2. 5

    Cook potatoes

Place potatoes in salted water. Bring to a boil and cook 15-20 minutes until fork-tender.

  3. 6

    Mash and finish

Drain well. Mash with butter until smooth. Add warm milk gradually until desired creaminess. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.

Slow-Cooked Green Beans

  1. 7

    Prep and sauté

Trim green beans. In a pot, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté onion until translucent, about 3-5 minutes. Add garlic and cook 1 minute more.

  2. 8

    Simmer beans

Add green beans and vegetable broth. Bring to a simmer and cook 15-20 minutes until beans are tender but still crisp.

  3. 9

    Finish

Stir in soy sauce. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.

Pasta Salad

  1. 10

    Cook pasta

Bring salted water to a boil. Add penne and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop cooking.

  2. 11

    Dress pasta

Toss pasta with olive oil and lemon juice to coat evenly.

  3. 12

    Add vegetables and cheese

Stir in cherry tomatoes, cucumber, parmesan, and fresh herbs. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
