Beer & Garnish

Glassware (optional)

Method

Serve

  1. 1

    Chill

Ensure the Budweiser bottle is well chilled (around 38–45°F / 3–7°C). Chill glassware in the fridge or freezer for 10–20 minutes if you prefer a colder serve.

  2. 2

    Prepare glass (optional)

If using a glass, decide whether to add ice: for a traditional beer pour, do not add ice. If you prefer a very cold, slightly diluted drink, add 3–4 ice cubes to the glass.

  3. 3

    Open bottle

Hold the bottle firm and remove the cap using a bottle opener. Wipe the neck with a napkin if necessary.

  4. 4

    Pour

Tilt the glass at about 45 degrees and pour the beer slowly down the side until the glass is about two-thirds full. Gradually straighten the glass and finish pouring to create a 1/2–1 inch (12–25 mm) head of foam. If serving directly from the bottle, simply sip from the bottle.

  5. 5

    Garnish (optional)

If desired, run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and drop the wedge into the beer or place it on the rim. Note: lime is optional and not traditionally served with Budweiser, but some people enjoy it.

  6. 6

    Serve immediately. Enjoy responsibly.
