Base Spirits & Mixers (per cocktail)
Garnishes & Extras (per cocktail)
Method
Well Mixed Highball (vodka/gin/rum/tequila + mixer)
Build-and-stir highball
Fill a highball glass with ice. Pour 1.5 oz of the chosen well spirit (vodka, gin, rum or tequila) over the ice. Add 3 oz of chosen mixer (club soda, cola) and 0.5 oz fresh lime or lemon juice if desired. Add 0.5 oz simple syrup for a sweeter profile if using club soda (skip if using cola). Stir gently with a bar spoon 6–8 times to combine. Garnish with a lime wedge for tequila/vodka, a lemon wheel for gin, or an orange twist for rum. Serve with a straw.
Simple Well Cocktail (bourbon based)
Bourbon Highball
Fill a rocks glass with ice. Pour 1.5 oz well bourbon, add 3 oz club soda (or cola for a sweeter variation). Add 2 dashes angostura bitters and 0.5 oz simple syrup if you want a slightly sweeter, Old-Fashioned-like profile. Stir gently 6–8 times. Garnish with an orange twist and a maraschino cherry.
Vermouth-based (Manhattan or Martini base)
Martini (dry)
For a martini-style serve (noting $3 upcharge): chill a coupe or martini glass. Add 1.5 oz well gin (or vodka) and 0.5 oz dry vermouth to a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir (for gin) 20–30 seconds or shake (for vodka) 8–10 seconds. Strain into the chilled glass. Express an orange twist or garnish with a lemon peel or olive; serve.
Manhattan
For a Manhattan-style serve (noting $3 upcharge): chill a coupe or rocks glass. In a mixing glass with ice combine 1.5 oz well bourbon (or rye if available), 0.5 oz sweet vermouth, and 2 dashes angostura bitters. Stir 20–30 seconds until well-chilled and slightly diluted. Strain into the chilled glass over a large ice cube (if on the rocks) or neat. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
Old Fashioned (staff note: $3 upcharge applies)
Old Fashioned-style
In a rocks glass add 0.5 oz simple syrup (or 1 sugar cube) and 2 dashes angostura bitters. Add a splash (about 0.25 oz) of water or club soda and muddle briefly if using a sugar cube. Add 1.5 oz well bourbon and a large ice cube. Stir 15–20 seconds to chill and dilute. Express an orange twist over the glass, rub the rim with the peel, and drop it in. Garnish with a maraschino cherry if desired.
Notes & Service
All listed spirit quantities are per single cocktail (one serving). Offer martini, Manhattan and Old Fashioned preparations with a $3 upcharge. Adjust simple syrup and citrus to taste. Ensure glassware is chilled for martinis/manhattans and that ice is fresh. For batch service, multiply ingredient quantities by number of servings and keep vermouth chilled and cocktails shaken/stirred immediately before serving.
