Smash Burger

Crispy tortilla chips topped with cheese, jalapeños, and your choice of toppings.

Nachos

Spread hummus on one side of each slice of bread. Layer the sliced cucumber, tomato, and leafy greens on one slice of bread. Season with salt and pepper. Top with the other slice of bread and cut in half.

Make the Sandwich

Serve potato chips on the side of your sandwich or prepare a side salad. For the side salad, combine mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumber in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then season with salt and pepper.

Choose Your Side

In a pot, sauté chopped onion and garlic until fragrant. Add chopped carrots and celery; cook until slightly soft. Pour in vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Add thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes.

Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions (about 4 ounces each).

Prepare the Patties

Sprinkle each portion with salt and black pepper.

Season the Patties

Preheat a cast-iron skillet or grill over medium-high heat.

Heat the Grill or Skillet

Place the beef portions on the hot surface. Use a spatula to smash each portion down into a flat patty. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side.

Cook the Patties

Flip the patties, and immediately place a slice of cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.

Flip and Add Cheese

While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

Toast the Buns

On the bottom half of each bun, layer lettuce, a patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

Assemble the Burgers

Serve immediately while hot with your favorite side.

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Spread the tortilla chips evenly on a baking sheet.

Prepare the base

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the tortilla chips. Add sliced jalapeños and any additional toppings, such as ground beef or chicken.

Add toppings

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Bake

Remove from the oven and top with diced tomatoes, chopped green onions, olives, sour cream, and guacamole. Serve immediately.
